What is an Acrylic Paint Pour ?!
Acrylic Paint Pouring is a style of Fluid Art that uses layered fluidacrylic paint on canvas to create one-of-one abstract, colorful paintings!
It is a mindfulness experience, perfect for any skill level; to let go of expectations and perfectionism, release one's scarcity mindset, and ultimately just play around with color.
In my Interactive Art Booths I do the DampPaper Towel method of Paint Pouring which involves pre-mixed colors and simple coordination. However, for my Workshops I like the guests to be more involved with their paints and the process, so I teach them the Flip Cup method. In the workshops the guests will complete 4 steps: choose four colors, mix the Paint and Mixing Medium in separate cups, then layer those mixed colors in a "dump" cup to then flip over on their canvases and reveal their masterpieces !
